This design uses the stitch and flip method to add the corner triangles to create 2 sets of alternating blocks. By pressing the seams in opposite directions on the two different blocks, the intersections will all lock and create a very square quilt. The flipped corners also create an optical illusion of an on-point hour glass block in every corner.
